Edgell Rd, Framingham

WHAT TO BRING:
  • A bag lunch for Saturday and optional snacks. We will provide dinner on Saturday and continental breakfast on Sunday.
  • Tent (if you prefer to sleep outside).
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Air Mattress or Foam Mat if sleeping in a tent.  There are mattresses for the cabin bunks.
  • Pillow
  • Clothing- You may need a warm coat/jacket plus hat and gloves depending on the night-time temperature plus lighter clothing for the day and activities. Wool socks which stay warm even when wet. Extra set of dry clothes to change into is recommended. UNIFORMS ARE NOT REQUIRED.
  • Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes
  • Hats/sunglasses for the sun
  • Water bottles
  • Backpacks for a hike to carry your gear
  • Cameras
  • Pocket knives are OK if you have a whittling chip card and an adult with you. NO AXES. We will bring bow saws for cutting wood.
  • Mitts, baseballs, footballs, Frisbees are OK
  • Mess kits if you have them or your own re-usable utensils, plates and cups
  • Reusable water bottles
  • Camp chairs for around the fire
  • Toiletries and toilet paper

Please be prepared for the conditions by wearing proper footwear (boots are advised) and packing extra clothes in your vehicle in case there is a slip and fall in the mud (it happens every year!).  Also- we cannot stress enough to pack what you can carry as the trails will be extremely difficult to traverse with a camp wagon. Although there are carts to use at the camp, the trails to Legion Cabin are steep.

See you there!
