This will be our hike for November and should be a fun event. We have had a visit from Bella before and Giaquinto is a great organization. Please make sure you are dressed for the weather and have your 6 essentials. Bring your family and friends to come check out Pack 31!

We'll meet at the basketball court where Bella the Owl will greet us. Mrs. Giaquinto will then let us know what the plan is for the walk and talk about a local hawk conservation project being conducted by Mass Wildlife. This may be another opportunity to go learn about local wildlife and see some great conservation work.

November Pack Meeting

This is a Scout favorite meeting and another way Pack 31 gives back to the community. We ask that all Scouts come with spare change to use as BINGO markers and donations to make to local families via Marlborough Public Schools. We’re also participating in the Wonderfund, adopting families to do some holiday shopping for. More details on that soon. Pack 31 will match all donations made by families dollar-for-dollar. We’ll then purchase and donate Wal-Mart gift cards to the School Adjustment Councilors at Jaworek and Goodnow to hand out as needs arise. We’ll play a bunch of rounds of SCOUT(BINGO) and give out prizes to the game winners. This meeting is always a blast. Come prepared to help your Scout mark their cards. We have “Richie Slush” to share donated by Marlborough Softball.

Marlborough ROtary has offered to let us set up next to them to sell any remaining wreaths we may have at this point. We'll also try to get TableTop Pies to sell like we did last year. Come to this event and have some fun with the family while supporting our Charter Organization and the Pack.

December Pack Meeting - Advancements

Pinewood derby cars will be distributed in exchange for a donation to Marlborough Community Cupboard

We'll be holding out first advancement awards of the year. Every Scout will receive their beltloops and pins they have earned up until this point. Make sure you are going to advancements.scouting.org and entering any work you have done outside the den adn pack meetings.

Mr. Pye plans to bring the Pinewood Derby track. So bring your past cars and we'll have some fun races. Mr. Pye will also bring Lego and cars to build on so any scout can race, even if they do not have an old car.

We plan to have a pizza party at this meeting to celebrate all the hard work.

This has been awesome in the past and we're looking forward to a fun overnight.

Theme: Crimes, Codes, and Clues

A night of plot twists and intrigue! Solve an animal-centered mystery using logic, fingerprints, DNA, and codes!

The Experience

Your themed night will include:

• Opportunities to explore the Museum

• Hands-on educational activities

• An evening snack

• A planetarium show under the stars before you climb into your sleeping bags to sleep amongst the exhibits.
  
  

The next morning:

• A continental breakfast

• Tour some of our outdoor exhibits

• All youth guests will also receive a free return admission pass to visit the Museum again on a future date!
