Camping gives Scouts the opportunity to try new things, take on responsibility, and build life skills in a fun and supportive environment. With less structure and fewer screens, kids are encouraged to use their creativity, solve problems, and gain confidence through hands-on experiences. From helping set up camp to cooking meals and sleeping under the stars, camping creates memorable adventures that teach teamwork, responsibility, and self-reliance. After a full day outdoors, Scouts usually sleep pretty well too!
