All participants that take place in Cub Scout activities are required to fill out the Scouting America Medical Form and bring copy to the Cub Master annually.
Every year all adults are required to read the Scouting America Youth Protection training guide, review it with their Cub Scout, and let Den Leaders know when completed.
The Cub Scout uniform serves a dual purpose - to demonstrate that a Scout is part of a team and to proudly display individual achievement.
The Field Uniform, often referred to as the Class A uniform, is the highly recognizable formal uniform that makes a Cub Scout stand out as Scout.
Lion uniforms are a Lion T-shirt and hat.
Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos wear the official Cub Scout blue uniform which includes a shirt with the appropriate patches, a belt, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, hat and either pants, shorts, or a skort.
Arrow of Light scouts switch to the tan shirt and green pants that they will take with them when they cross over in a BSA Troop.

For many of our Pack 31 events Scouts wear the more casual uniform known as the Activity, or Class B, uniform.
A Pack 31 T-shirt is provided for free by the Pack to each new Scout.
A Pack 31 sweatshirt, and other optional gear, is also available for purchase from the Pack.
Pack 31 gear is also available for purchase in adult sizes!
Field Uniform items, along with other Scouting America gear, can be purchased online at scoutshop.org, or at the local New England Scout Shop located in Southboro.
Pack 31 gear can be purchased at Pack Meetings, and inventory viewed online. The items are not brought to every meeting so please let leadership know if you would like something.
When a Cub Scout starts a new year they should get the handbook for their new rank from the Scout Shop. This handbook is an essential part of Scouting as it contains all the activities and requirements for all required and elective adventures for that rank!
Den Leaders use the Scouting.org site in conjunction with the Den handbooks to plan out how to best complete Adventures requirements. All adults are encouraged to look through these to be informed on what their Scout will be doing, and maybe get inspired to want to teach a topic!
Scoutbook is where succeful completion of Adventures are entered. The Den Leaders use this to track Scout's progress, order Adventure Belt Loops, and more. All adults are welcome to make an account, follow along, and enter in Adventures completed at home.
Your My Scouting account was created when you registered. Adults will need to access this at least once a year to reregister their Scout and pay the National and District Dues. It is also where you can see you Membership ID number, access adult training, and more.
