Hiking helps Scouts build confidence, resilience, and independence one step at a time. Exploring trails encourages kids to stay active, connect with nature, and discover that adventure can be found just outside their front door. Time spent outdoors has also been shown to help children feel happier, less anxious, and better able to focus and pay attention. Best of all, hiking gives families the chance to slow down, unplug, and enjoy meaningful time together in the fresh air.
There are so many Scout friendly trails in Marlborough, Hudson, Sudbury, and the surrounding towns we can never do them all!
The essentials, a sense of adventure, and a respect for nature!
