Fundraising is a great way for a Cub Scout to learn the value of not only setting a goal, but how to create a plan to achieve said goal, and the hard work it takes to follow through. Finally reaching that goal gives a Scout a strong sense of accomplishment. While the process of getting there teaches enhanced communication, leadership skills, and confidence a Scout can take with them both inside and outside of Scouts.
